ОГЛАВЛЕНИЕ
In the reader’s attention, the next volume of the oldest academic yearbook presents works on various problems of the history and culture of Byzantium and neighboring countries. This volume opens with a conceptual article by N.I. Bystritskiy and P.V. Kuzenkov, which presents the experience of applying the methods of formalization and analysis of historical information on the example of specific events of Byzantine history. The peculiarity of the volume is a great attention to the problems of the history of the Church: two articles are devoted to the interrelations of the bishopric departments of the Late Antiquity, and one more to the ecumenical processes of the middle of the 13th century. In the work of P.V. Ermilov touched on such a pressing topic as the canonical debate of the late XVI century. around the establishment of the Moscow Patriarchate. Another group of works is united by the interest of the authors in the history of Russian Byzantine studies: here, a joint article by J. Chehanovets and L.A. Belyaev about the fate of the collection of antiquities archim. Antonin (Kapustin), who headed the Russian ecclesiastical mission in Palestine at the end of the 19th century, and also prepared by V.G. Ananyev and M.D. Bukharin publication of archival documents related to the name of the outstanding Russian Byzantinist V.N. Beneshevich, who died tragically in 1938.
