— I. Medvedev publishes a Greek text with Latin translation, found in the archive of a Russian lover of antiquities count Olenin. The text was sent to him by C. Hase in 1816. Medvedev proves beyond reasonable doubt that it is a fake, made by Hase to satisfy Russians’ curiosity in their earliest history (cf. below no. 3685). [Ivanov]
