— The article deals with the examination of the funds of the Russian Archaeological Institute in Constantinople conserved in archives at, St. Petersburg. Many unpublished works of Russian scholars were found there: research papers on the topography and monuments of Constantinople, on monuments and mosaics of Chios, the account of the military-archeological expedition to Trebizond in 1916/1917 and papers reflecting the institute’s activities.
